Trained leaders provide a quality, fun-filled program for the boys. When leaders understand Scouting, they are more effective in their roles.

This emblem is available to all adult leaders who have completed
Youth Protection Training and Leader Specific Training for their position.
It is worn on the left sleeve, below and touching the
emblem of leadership for which it was earned.

(Now required for all leaders, every two years, in order to register.)
• SAFE SWIM DEFENSE and SAFETY AFLOAT
(Required for Tour Permits where swimming and boating are involved.)
• PLANNING & PREPARING FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER
(Required for ALL Tour Permits.)
